Synova SA Appoints Stephan Mohren as CEO
ECUBLENS, Switzerland - Monday, April 16th 2012 [ME NewsWire]
(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Synova announced today that Dr. Stephan W. Mohren has joined the company effective April 1, 2012, to become the new CEO as a successor to the company´s founder and longterm CEO, Dr. Bernold Richerzhagen.
Bernold Richerzhagen will take up the position of President of the board and remain involved in the company’s strategy and technology roadmap.
Stephan Mohren, a senior technology and finance executive, is the former CEO & President of Steag HamaTech AG, and served on the boards of Steag Industrie AG and Nawotech GmbH. In addition, Stephan Mohren was a Venture Partner at Wellington Partners GmbH and an investment advisor to WestSteag Partners GmbH and Equita GmbH. Prior to joining Synova he ran his own business consulting and services company, se2quel Management GmbH. He holds an MBA from the University of St Gallen, Switzerland, and a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Saarbrücken.
