Abu Dhabi Police Music Band Returns Home

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Monday, September 16th 2013
The Abu Dhabi Police Music Band has returned home after overwhelming success and many achievements marking its participation in the International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower” in Moscow. Large crowds of both Arab and foreign nationalities attended the festival and appreciated musical pieces played by the band and the dance shows it performed during the ten-day festival.
Lieutenant Colonel Saeed Al Khajah, Deputy Director of Tactical Affairs and Security Media Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior, said that the participation of the Abu Dhabi Police Music Band in regional and international events reveals its significant role in introducing different communities to the UAE’s heritage and folklore unveiling it as an ancient cultural and art loving civilization. He highlighted the unprecedented audience interaction with the Bedouin songs played by the band saying that this definitely shows that the Abu Dhabi Police Music Band has made huge steps in enhancing its expertise and skills through extensive training and advanced equipment.
The Abu Dhabi Police Music Band has played various orchestras and musicals during the festival in addition to impressive national songs that were deeply admired by high officials in Russian government and visiting delegates. The Band’s distinguished performance coincides with the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Abu Dhabi Police Music Band.
