Serving the needs of fixed and mobile customers in the UK and in more than 170 countries, BT will deploy GENBAND solutions to deliver SIP-based IP Interconnect for other global tier 1 and tier 2 carriers. In addition to supporting UK and global network access, this solution will support Global interconnect and IDD.
BT will deploy GENBAND’s S3TM Intelligent Session Border Controllers, G9TM Converged Media Gatewaysand C3TM Gateway Controllersproviding access to the PSTN while ensuring secure IP interconnects and enabling transcoding.
The combined GENBAND Interconnect solution seamlessly interfaces with NetNumber’s Titan centralized routing solution to take optimal route decisions and to apply policies to ensure route quality and profitability.
