Gazeley, an Economic Zones World company and leading global supplier of logistics warehouses and distribution parks, has recently started earthworks on a 26 acres site in Kassel, Germany for a 47,100 sq m (507,000 sq ft) build-to-suit project.
The site is part of Magna Park Kassel where Gazeley has already built a total of 135,000 sq m of logistics and distribution space for renowned customers such as Volkswagen and Zufall Logistics Group.
The new warehouse will be developed for a leading international manufacturer of solar components and is scheduled for completion by the end of this year. In line with Gazeley’s sustainable commitment it will include various eco elements and is aimed at achieving the “Silver Certificate” of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
