The Abu Dhabi Police rescued a Pakistani driver who suffered serious fractures in a two-truck collision. The accident occurred on Hamim Road in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

An Air Wing aircraft landed at the scene after receiving a call from the Operations Room. The aircraft was backed by ambulance and traffic patrols, which organized the traffic and contributed in helping the 37-year-old injured individual. The injured was rushed to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi for treatment.

Similarly, in the past two weeks, the Air Wing Department conducted four ambulance tasks, which resulted in rescuing and transferring four patients including two UAE nationals who sustained injuries in separate medical and traffic incidents. All incidents occurred in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi.

The Air Wing Department of the Abu Dhabi Police noted that ambulance crews handled the five calls received recently from the Operations Room professionally. The department said that four injured individuals were transferred from hospitals in the Western Region to Khalifa, Mafraq and Al Rahba hospitals to receive necessary medical treatment.
