AUTON Moves to a New State of the Art Building
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - Thursday, April 5th 2012 [ME NewsWire]
(BUSINESS WIRE)-- As AUTON Motorized Systems continues to stay ahead in the ever-growing industry of motorized Television lifts, owner and founder Virgil Walker has moved both their manufacturing and sales operations to a newer, state-of-the-art facility to better serve their worldwide clientele. The new building is located at 29102 Hancock Parkway, Valencia, CA.
Walker has sold their 22,000 square-foot building located in Santa Clarita’s original industrial park, the Valencia Industrial Center. The building has served AUTON’s needs for many years, but in keeping with the times Walker felt it was time to relocate his multi-million-dollar operation to a more modernized facility. “The new building is in a much newer industrial park, it has the amenities and a modern infrastructure that are crucial to service our customers in a quick and efficient manner and, at the same time, it is much more energy efficient,” says the still-spry CEO, who founded the automated television lift industry back in 1955.
“I can remember when a rotary telephone, a healthy stock of legal pads and a filing cabinet were the core of our operations. I guess you could say I’ve seen some changes over the decades and we continue to work diligently to keep up with the newest technologies to both support our manufacturing and introduce new products to the marketplace. A great example of this is our MFC, a multifunction controller which can be used as a powerful ‘stand-alone’ controller, but also integrates easily with the advanced home automation systems in use today.”
AUTON keeps up to date with its lean manufacturing technique; a practice learned from the automobile industry, it provides the productivity and flexibility to manufacture at the highest level.
AUTON is the inventor of numerous unique automated rack and pinion systems, including the world-renowned Wireless Remote Television Lift. To see Auton’s full line of products visit www.auton.com.
