JMS vendor offers world’s first JMS/AMQP 1.0 integration
BREMEN, Germany - Wednesday, January 11th 2012 [ME NewsWire]
(BUSINESS WIRE)-- As the first vendor worldwide, IIT Software is
offering full implementation of the Advanced Message Queuing Protocol
(AMQP) specification 1.0 with its messaging system SwiftMQ and as a
result complete integration with the Java Message Service standard
(JMS).
"AMQP 1.0 as a standardized messaging protocol should be seen on the
same level as HTTP. We expect enormous growth in this sector and offer a
robust messaging product in the form of SwiftMQ, which supports AMQP
1.0 and JMS equally,” according to Andreas Müller, CEO of IIT Software.
"IIT Software is an active supporter of the AMQP standard and I’m
pleased with the implementation of AMQP 1.0 in their SwiftMQ product,”
explained John O'Hara, founder and chair of the AMQP Working Group.
“Thanks to the support of AMQP by established messaging products like
SwiftMQ, it’s easier for customers to connect with trading partners in
the AMQP world, while leveraging their existing investments,” O'Hara
continued.
