AAU Students Educated about Traffic Law


ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Thursday, March 27th 2014 [ME NewsWire]

The Traffic Institute Section in Al Ain organized a lecture titled "The Federal Traffic Laws and Regulations" for a group of students from Al Ain University of Science and Technology (AAU) in the College of Law building.

Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Salem Al Mahri, Chief of the Traffic Institute Section of the Abu Dhabi Police Patrol and Traffic Directorate, assured that the section’s participation in such educational conferences falls under the efforts exerted to ensure a safe society by spreading traffic safety culture in society.

During his lecture, Captain Salem Ali Al Kutbi, Training Branch Manager at the Institute, explained the concept of traffic law and the various provisions. Students and members of the university's education staff interacted with Captain Al Kutbi, and praised the positive role played by the Traffic and Patrols Directorate in increasing traffic awareness.
