The Al Ain Traffic Section, Traffic and Patrols Directorate at Abu
Dhabi Police took part in the Al Ain Reads book show. The event is
the fifth in the annual series organized by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and
Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) and supported by Abu Dhabi Media,
and Emirates Identity Authority. It opened on Sunday September 29,
and will run for a week until October 5, at Al Ain Convention Center.
It is noteworthy that this book show offers a book exchange
opportunity and aims to encourage knowledge sharing.
Major Salah Abdullah Al Hemairi, Chief of the Section, stressed that
this participation underscores the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s keenness to
interact with the various societal events. “The Abu Dhabi Police GHQ,
represented by the Traffic and Patrols Directorate endeavors to
provide purposeful traffic-related information to community segments
with a view to achieve comprehensive traffic culture. This would
eventually contribute to attain the ultimate coveted traffic goal of
reducing the number of deaths and serious injuries caused by traffic
accidents on the Emirate’s external and internal roads,” indicated
Major Al Hemairi.
Concluding, Major Al Hemairi reiterated the significant attention
dedicated by the higher leadership to ensure the safety of all road
users, citizens and residents alike.
