He also suggested that mothers should provide children with their own budgets and teach them how to invest. According to Al Halian, this helps children grow in a healthy environment, enhance their sense of responsibility and enables them to become financially responsible adults in the future.

The second session, which was chaired by Dr. Yousuf Alsharif, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Al Bayan Center for Studies & Researches, featured two papers. Al Neyadi introduced the attendees to the Family Development Foundation and its programs that aim to encourage effective maternity, in addition to the foundation’s success stories. He recommended the foundation’s programs that aim to encourage effective maternity at schools by targeting students’ parents and working with schools to attract them to the program and cooperate with government institutions to execute these programs that target both mothers and fathers. He suggested that such cooperation could count as training hours for government employees. Al Neyadi also called for cooperation with the correctional and punitive institutions, as well as social support centers, in order to target the parents of juveniles and victims of domestic violence and invite them to participate in the foundation’s programs.
