Abu Dhabi Police Conclude Traffic Accidents Rescue techniques Course

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Thursday, February 26th 2015 [ME NewsWire]

The Emergency and Public Safety Department at the Directorate General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police concluded a course on “Modern Traffic Accidents Rescue Techniques.” The course was organized with the aim of enhancing the skills of rescuers and paramedics at the department and qualifying them to handle emergency situations.

Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations attended the graduation ceremony that was held in Abu Dhabi. He stressed the considerable importance of the course in providing participants with the necessary skills and expertise to respond to emergency cases. “The course falls in line with the objectives of the Ministry of Interior’s strategy, towards qualifying and training staff members in the various areas of police work.

 The course, which was organized in cooperation with the Training Department at Abu Dhabi Police, and in collaboration with the French Embassy, was moderated by Captain Thierry Roland and Lieutenant Bruno Gunkel from the French Civil Defense.

Towards the end of the ceremony, Major General Al Raisi awarded certificates to the graduates and urged them to exert additional efforts in discharging their humanitarian duties for the sake of saving lives.
