Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior recently inaugurated an awareness-raising workshop on the Business Continuity Management Program at the Police General Headquarters. Major General Al Nuaimi stressed the Higher Leadership’s commitment to adopt and implement state-of-the-art international systems to boost efficiency and productivity. “The police leadership relentlessly strives to provide excellent services to the public,” added Al Nuaimi.
The workshop, which was held at the Forensic Evidence Hall at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, addressed the goals of the business continuity management system, which aims to enable the various institutions to provide basic services to the citizens, residents, visitors and staff members in all circumstances. The workshop also tackled the project’s stages, its scope of implementation across all departments, the timetable for implementation, the follow-up and implementation committees, in addition to its technical aspects and specifications.
Major General Al Nuami expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Directors General of the Abu Dhabi Police for their fruitful participation in developing and implementing projects.
The workshop was attended by Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services; Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Human Resources; Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations; and Brigadier General Dr. Saif Bu Dhufaira Al Ameri, Director General of Security and Ports Affairs. Also present were Brigadier General Faris Al Faresi, Director General Manager of Guards and Special Tasks, as well as the heads of departments and a number of high ranked officers.
Major Ali Abdullah Bin Daen Al Ghafli, Deputy Director of Strategy and Performance Development at the Abu Dhabi Police delivered a speech at the beginning of the workshop welcoming the participants. Moreover, Major Al Ghafli gave an overview of the project’s scope, duration, and its importance for the Abu Dhabi Police and the Abu Dhabi Government in general.
