ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Wednesday, October 9th 2013 [ME NewsWire]
The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Higher Committee of the International Conference for Security and National Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014), announced that 75% of the exhibition space is booked by different companies and entities specialized in the security, safety and emergency fields. These bookings come six months before the launch date.
Major General Staff Dr. Obeid Al Kutbi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of the Exhibition (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014) and the International Conference on Security Challenges, which is being held in conjunction with the exhibition, said: “Despite the 40% increase in exhibition space compared to 2012, booking rates have grown by 35% compared to the same period of the conference’s last edition.”
He added: “The significant presence of local, regional, and international exhibitors participating and exhibiting the latest and most advanced innovations and technologies in security, safety and emergency, demonstrates the leading position of Abu Dhabi in organizing large, international activities and exhibitions. The Emirate has become a constant destination for many companies and exhibitors participating in exhibitions held in Abu Dhabi. Thus, major international specialty companies are keen to take part in this event, which has taken place once every two years since 2002.
ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014 represents an important platform introducing the latest concepts and technologies in security and establishments and vital utilities protection, forming great opportunities to share expertise and experiences. Each edition of this exhibition helps to further establish this event as one of the major specialized events in security, safety and emergency. This is demonstrated in the great demand from companies to book spaces more than five months before the start of the exhibition.”
Al Kutbi said: “The list of the participating companies includes an elite of major specialized local, regional and international companies including Tawazun, International Golden Group (IGG), Advanced Integrated Systems, Mubadala Development Company, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), Emirates Advanced Investments, and Atlas Group in addition to companies such as MP3 International; Motorola Solutions; Smiths Detection; Thales Group, a global leader in advanced technologies for defense, security, space and transportation industries; Harris Corporation; Morpho (Safran); Cassidian EADS; International Armored Group; American Science and Engineering Inc.
