Extending the Work for Further 24 Hours at the Main Technical Test Center in Abu Dhabi

Two Hours Increase in Other Centers

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - Saturday, November 23rd 2013 [ME NewsWire]

The Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department in Abu Dhabi announced the extension of work for further 24 hours in the Technical Test Center at “Al Salama” main building in Abu Dhabi, in addition to an increase of 2 hours in other centers from Sunday to Thursday of each week to facilitate offering services to citizens and residents, and safe their efforts and time to achieve their requests.

As per the new amendment, working hours will be for 24 hours at the Safety Main Building in Abu Dhabi. Working hours will be from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm in Safety Buildings at Musaffah, Bani Yas and Al Samha regions, and the Licensing Department of Al Ain and Al Hir. The working hours at Al Waqan, the technical test track in ADNOC service station at Ramah in Al Ain, Safety Buildings in Al Ruwais and Zayed City, and the test course at ADNOC service station in the Western Region Port, which all will be open from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Lt. Colonel Suhail Al Khaili, Head of the Vehicles Licensing Section at the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department in Abu Dhabi Police, justified the extension of working hours in these centers by the increase of the number of vehicles that undergo technical tests in Abu Dhabi, the enhancement of services provided by the Department, and reduce the time for accomplishing tasks in a way that coups with the status of Abu Dhabi Police’s vision towards the services’ quality, excellence and scope of action for citizens and residents wherever they are.

He added that the Department deals with individuals who seek these services as per the methodology of Abu Dhabi Police to offer facilities and communicate with them according to the open door policy. The above can be achieved through the clients’ service center that solves issues that face them directly, and in coordination with 25 entities without the need to send customers to those entities, and answer their inquiries about required documents and procedures via a tool free number, and the complaints and suggestions site on the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters’ website.

He stressed the importance over the use of all potentials to serve the citizens and residents, and simplify procedures related to the Department through the main center and service centers that are available all over Abu Dhabi.
