Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs, inspected the “Closer to You” initiative for the elderly and people with special needs along with the “At Your Serivce (Amerni)” service. Both are introduced by the Al Ain Residency and Foreigners Affairs Directorate General for internal and external customers; it also unveiled many organizational projects under the operational initiative.
Major General Al Khaili valued the developmental projects and initiatives, which were presented by Al Ain Residency employees. The initiatives highlighted their role in meeting the customers’ needs whether they are citizens or residents. Additionally, he followed up with them to ensure the best services were being extended and that these services are being facilitated with the least time.
This took place during Major General Al Khaili’s inspection visit to Al Ain Residency and Foreigners Affairs Directorate General under the field visits program for directorate generals along with their affiliated centers all over the country. Major General Al Khaili was accompanied by Colonel Salim Ali Al Qattam Al Zaabi, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi and Lieutenant Colonel Mohamed Al Amiri, Acting Director General of Resources and Support Services Department. He was received by Colonel Khalifa Matar Balquba' Al Humairi, Director of the Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department in Al Ain, and Lieutenant Colonel Mohamed Al Dhaheri, Acting Head of the Department, along with directors of sections and a number of department officers.
During his visit, Major General Al Khaili listened to an explanation about work flow and met with a number of customers who made suggestions and offered opinions about the services and procedures; the Major General reiterated the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to include customer feedback in the enhancement and development of services to fulfill their needs and expectations.
Major General Al Khaili also witnessed the graduation ceremony of the “Success Engineering” course that was organized by the Emirates Institute for Naturalization, Residency and Ports. He called upon graduates to continue providing special services for customers and executing the instructions of police leadership related to increasing customer satisfaction.
