SL manages the Swedish capital’s transport network, used every day by 700 000 travellers. Thanks to OT’s cityGo contactless smart cards, Swedish commuters benefit from a more convenient, secure and easier transportation experience: they can remotely buy their tickets and just have to wave their contactless cityGo card in front of a terminal to access transportation; no ticket in the pocket which is more time efficient.
OT has been appointed by SL to deliver a complete solution including contactless travel cards and pre-personalization and personalization with the cardholder’s data, as well as the fulfilment. OT will also support SL migrating to new technologies, including new smart cards with increased security features and new services around NFC, which will further enhance the travellers’ experience.
