Lt.
General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and
Minister of Interior, and Deputy Chairman of Emirates Identity Authority
emphasized the pivotal role of Emirates Identity Authority in
supporting the State’s strive for progress and the Development; under
the wise vision of the Higher Leadership.
Furthermore, His
Highness urged the Emirates Identity Authority members, to focus on
developing services as a main pillar for all organizational excellence
plans, within the framework of its strategic plan 2010-2013.
These
remarks were made by His Highness during a meeting with a delegation
from the EIDA, headed by Dr. Eng. Ali Mohammed Al Khouri, Director
General of the Authority. It is noteworthy that His Highness received
the delegation over an Iftar buffet at the Zakher Palace in Al Ain, in
the presence of Colonel Saud Al Saadi, Director of the Secretariat of
the Office of His Highness the Minister.
His Highness lauded the
Higher Leadership’s support for the excellence process sought and
achieved by the Emirates Identity Authority. He called on the EIDA
members to further strive to achieve the highest standards of excellence
in performance, and redoubling efforts to improve customer service,
stressing that excellence sought as per the vision of the Higher
Leadership has no borders or limits.
On the same note, His
Highness urged EIDA’s employees to seek further education, hone their
skills and competencies, and acquire knowledge so as to enhance the
Authority’s prominent position, improve the State's competitiveness and
provide the best services to citizens and residents alike.
For
his part, Dr. Eng. Ali Mohammed Al Khouri, Director General of the
Emirates Identity Authority, extended the EIDA’s congratulations to the
Higher Leadership on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan. He also
expressed the Authority’s thanks and gratitude for the indefinite
support dedicated by the Higher Leadership to the Authority’s employees
to enable them to achieve the vision, mission and strategic objectives
of the Authority.
Moreover, Al Khouri underscored the keenness of
the Authority to pursue and redouble its efforts as a sign of gratitude
to the nation and the Higher Leadership, so as to ensure the
achievement of the goals for which the Authority was established and
enhance the competitiveness of the State. The Authority also endeavors
to achieve the “UAE Vision 2021” through concerted efforts with partners
towards developing governmental action, building a knowledge-based
society and economy, with a focus on customers being the pillars of the
Authority’s strategic values and main priorities.
Present at the
meeting, on behalf of EIDA were Mosbah Al Masmari, Head of Corporate and
Support Services Sector; Nasser Al Abdouli, Acting Director of the
Registration Centers Operations Sector; Abdullah Al Kindi, Head of the
Information Technology Department; Shukri Al Bariki, Head of the
Population Register Department; Ismael Fadlallah, Head of Registration
Centers Department; Amer Al Mahri, Head of Government and Community
liaison Department; Ahmed Al Hosani, Head of Financial Department,
together with directors of Departments and organizational units, and
service centers affiliated to the Authority at the State level.
