Sharing international best practices is key for improved competency and local operational efficiency says Olivier Brousse CEO of the Saur Group
Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Wednesday, January 2nd 2013 [ME NewsWire]
The Middle East and North Africa region is experiencing phenomenal demand for waste water solutions, with Saudi Arabia showing the most potential. This surge in demand has prompted the government to embark on significant investment programs, thus creating public-private partnerships (PPP), which are playing important roles to meet this growing demand.
One of the three leading and reputable providers of outsourced services for local authorities in the water and waste management industries—SAURhas forged strong relationships with the Ministry of Water & Electricity. Through their expansion and strategic joint-venture partnerships in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, they have demonstrated commitment and focus on long-term investments, by fostering innovation and expertise for sustainable implementation in the Kingdom.
Speaking at the recent Saudi Power and Water Forum 2012 in Jeddah, Olivier Brousse, CEO of the SAUR Group, who is in a joint-venture with Marafiq, discussed the importance of sharing international best practices, and outlined one of the Company’s’ long-term strategies, which is to effectively advocate Saudi Arabia’s national policy on Saudization, reaching a 70% target in employee workforce, in water projects, specifically in Jubail. Bringing a wealth of experience as an international operator, Brousse provided compelling case studies which reflect SAUR’s dedication to qualitative recruitment to unlocking refined talent.
During the Forum, Olivier Brousse –CEO of the SAUR Group went on to say:
“With increasing demand comes growing technological complexity. Dealing with these complexities requires the right talent to enhance operational efficiency, ensuring we remain creative and competitive.”
Today, many international companies are looking to tap into Saudi Arabia, and with net investments exceeding 100 billion Saudi Riyals, this is a significant market for key investors especially in the water and power sector.
