The
Traffic and Patrols Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police will be hosting a
stand at the Gulf Traffic Exhibition and Conference 2014, alongside
Saaed Company for Traffic Systems, Saaed Society to Reduce Traffic
Accidents and Tatweer Company. “Gulf Traffic 2014”, scheduled to take
place from 8 -10 December, will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center.
Brigadier
Eng. Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, Director of Traffic and Patrols
Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police, and Chairman of Saaed Company for
Traffic Systems, said that the participation in this exhibition reflects
the directorate’s keenness to increase cooperation with authorities
concerned with traffic safety and leading companies within the traffic
and transport industry, as well as road transport authorities.
Brigadier
Eng. Al Harithi noted that the Abu Dhabi Police and Saaed stand at the
Gulf Traffic Exhibition and Conference will be showcasing the
technologically advanced system to support operations in the field of
traffic safety, in accordance with the best international practices. He
added that the displayed systems will include a smart traffic systems’
center, smart towers project, and the project designed to catch red
traffic lights and speed limits’ violators.
Furthermore, the
Saaed Company for Traffic Systems will be presenting the latest smart
traffic applications and systems, which would help developing and
managing integrated and efficient technological solutions, designed to
improve the roads and transport system. The projects to be showcased at
Gulf Traffic 2014 will include the accidents management system, the
Federal Gateway for vehicles, and the smart patrol.
The
traffic-related stand at the Gulf Traffic Exhibition and Conference will
also feature screening opportunities of educational and traffic
awareness films, as well as distribution traffic awareness brochures to
the visitors. The Traffic Education Patrol will also acquaint the public
with the optimal traffic safety guidelines and boost interaction with
them, via “Together”, the Abu Dhabi Traffic’s program to reduce traffic
accidents.
In conclusion, Brigadier Eng. Al Harithi stressed the
importance of the Gulf Traffic Exhibition and Conference 2014, which
will feature a high-level of participation. He added that the
exhibition’s agenda will focus on infrastructure and road safety, smart
parking systems, traffic safety, smart transport systems; as well as
showcasing the latest innovative trends, technologies and solutions in
the traffic and transport industry.
