Abu Dhabi Police Honors 11 Distinguished Officers from the Directorate General of Security and Ports Affairs

The Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, represented by the Directorate General of Security and Ports Affairs, recently honored 11 distinguished officers and non-commissioned officers for their outstanding achievements by obtaining appreciation medals and the “Ideal Employee Award”.

In his speech during the honoring ceremony, Colonel Khamis Musbah Al Marar, Head of the Ports and Airports Security Department, congratulated the honored officers. He underscored the keenness of Abu Dhabi Police to encourage its staff members to develop their skills and abilities, so as to enhance their efforts in the areas of policing and security work, achieve the best security practices, and offer the high quality services to citizens and residents.

Moreover, Colonel Al Marar encouraged the honorees to pursue academic excellence and to take advantage of the latest developments in various fields, in line with modern and diverse policing and security disciplines.

Colonel Al Marar awarded 6 officers with medals of appreciation: five First Lieutenants and one Lieutenant; four of whom have obtained a Masters’ Degree, two others obtained a bachelor’s degree with honors. He also honored another five other officers; two commissioned officers, two sergeants, and one civilian, for obtaining the “Ideal Employee Award”.
