In a Meeting Chaired by Major General Al Khaili

The
Ministry of Interior discussed the mechanisms of performance
development at the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs sector,
through implementation of a number of developmental projects. Upgrading
the level of work, providing distinguished services to the public, as
well as a number of topics related to entry permits, residence visas and
expatriate workers were discussed during the meeting; appropriate
decisions were taken accordingly.
The Naturalization, Residency
and Ports Affairs Higher Committee had recently held a meeting at the
office of the Assistant Undersecretary of Naturalization, Residency and
Port Affairs of Abu Dhabi.
The meeting was chaired by Major
General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Assistant Undersecretary of the
Ministry of the Interior for Resources and Support Services, and
attended by Major General Mohammad Ahmad Al Merri, Director General of
the Dubai Naturalization and Residency and Ports Affairs Department
(DNRD), along with Directors-General of Residency and Foreigners
Affairs, members of the committee.
Attendees reviewed
presentations related to excellence training plans, performance
management system, and methods of improvements. They also tackled
self-assessment results for performance management system, and a
proposal pertaining to land ports e-gates system, in addition to the
proposals routing system.
The meeting also reviewed the minutes
of the fourth meeting for 2013 of the Foreigners Affairs Coordinating
Committee, and the report submitted by the returning delegation from
Australia, which shed light on the best practices, expertise and
experiences in the area of Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs.
