ADP Invites Community Members to Attend the World Anti-Drugs Day Celebrations

Organized in Bawabat Al Sharq and Al Ain Malls

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Tuesday, June 25th 2013 [ME NewsWire]

The Abu Dhabi Police GHQ invited all segments of society to attend the World Anti-Drugs Day celebrations organized as of tomorrow Wednesday, under the theme “Be in a Good Company… Say no to Drugs”. The celebrations will take place at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall at Banyas city and at Al Ain Mall in Al Ain in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

It also urged community members to interact with the event, and review the awareness brochures submitted by the various participating police departments and entities aimed at spreading the culture of combating drugs and raising awareness on the ill effect of drugs, which represent a hazard to society’s economy, values and ideologies.

It is noteworthy that a number of the Abu Dhabi Police departments, government entities and local national institutions will be taking  part in the five-day celebrations that will features various awareness-raising activities, programs and performances, along with a free drawing pavilion, community contests open to the public of all group ages. Moreover, prizes will be distributed to participants.
