NEW YORK - Friday, September 30th 2016 [ME NewsWire]
(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The following is a media statement from Interbrand:
Our commitment to being a global organization is an important part of what makes us Interbrand and our network has been built both through wholly owned offices and key partnerships around the world. Our Africa presence, a license held by Intergroup Brand Consultancy, represents one of these partnerships. This affiliation has existed for slightly over 20 years, and we are very thankful for the collaboration, first with Jeremy Sampson, and over the past 10 years with Doug de Villiers and his extended team.
Based on our respective business priorities, we have mutually decided that the business in Africa moving forward will continue as an independent trading organization. As a result, we will no longer have a dedicated presence representing Interbrand in Africa. We will, however, continue to partner with the Intergroup team, as well as working directly, in service of Interbrand clients in the region.
We are grateful for everything we’ve achieved together with our African partners, and we wish them well for the future.
If you have any specific questions that relate to ongoing projects or work under consideration, please feel free to reach out directly.
Thank you.
