While Chairing the Abu Dhabi Police Higher Command Committee Meeting
ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Sunday, January 12th 2014
Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior has instructed the police leadership to boost mutual coordination, improve the level of policing efforts, and to pursue excellence in the provision of services. His Highness Sheikh Saif also stressed the importance of follow-up of work performance, as per the plans set up for the strategic initiatives and projects, with a view to achieve the coveted results.
The Higher Command Committee held its first meeting for 2014 at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters. During the meeting, which was presided over by His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the participants reviewed the crime prevention strategy, as well as number of topics on the agenda pertaining to upgrading the standards of police performance. The appropriate decisions were taken accordingly by the Committee.
The meeting was attended by Major General Staff Dr. Obeid Al Hiri Salim Al Kutbi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police; Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services; Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Human Resources; Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police; and Major General Dr. Abdul Quddous Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidly, Director General of Total Quality at Dubai Police.
Also present were Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier General Fares Al Farisi, Director General of Guards and Special Tasks; Brigadier General Dr. Saif Bu Dhufaira Al Ameri, Director General of Security and Ports Affairs; and Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General, at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; along with a number of heads of departments and senior officers.
