The Ministry of Interior’s Special Security Forces Headquarters celebrated the graduation of 34 officers, non-commissioned officers and civilians from the various police GHQs and Ministry of Interior’s departments in the state. The graduates completed two specialized courses namely; the first “Strategic Planning for Officers” course and the 30th “Basics of Operating TETRA Devices” course. The two courses were held at the Special Security Forces Institute in Murbah in Fujairah.
Lt. Colonel Dr. Mohammed Hilal Bin Ghabesh, Director of Support Services Department at the Special Security Forces attended the ceremony, along with Major Bader Saleh Al Marzouqi, Director of the Special Security Forces Training Institute. Also present were a number of officers from the Special Security Forces Headquarters and Training Institute.
Lt. Colonel Bin Ghabesh indicated that the courses are part of the annual training plan. They also come in line with the higher leadership’s development strategy to qualify its human cadres, so as to keep abreast of security work developments and updates. “The police constantly seek to develop state-of-the-art techniques to combat crime and enhance security and safety of the community,” pointed out Bin Ghabesh.
Concluding, he urged the graduates to redouble the efforts to improve police work and develop their scientific and practical skills, to be able to assume the great responsibilities of maintaining the urban progress and development process in the country. At the end of the ceremony, certificates were distributed to the graduates.
