Al Ain Community Police Honors Students

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Friday, January 3rd 2014 [ME NewsWire]


The Community Police section at the Al Muraba Police Station affiliated to Al Ain Police Directorate honored students who took part in the “Healthy-Thinking Youth: Key to Security” Program. The honoring ceremony that took place on Thursday was held at the Al Ain Police Directorate’s premises.
Colonel Ali Yasser Al Aryani, Director of the Falaj Hazza Police Station, distributed certificates and awards to students who enrolled in the training program, as well as to the supervisors.
Major Ahmed Ailan Al Muhairi, Chief of the Al Ain Community Police section said: “This program aims to build an intellectually aware and security conscious generation, with a strong commitment to their community. The program is designed to help students find useful activities to do in their leisure time during school holidays, and to acquaint them with the important and vital role of the police force in the service of community members. In conclusion, Major Al Muhairi added that the program aims to inculcate in students a culture of traffic and security awareness, to enhance the public’s trust in the police institution.
