ADP: Guards and Special Tasks Honors 3 Heads of Departments

The Directorate General of Guards and Special Tasks at Abu Dhabi Police honored three of its distinguished heads of departments.  The accolade comes in recognition of their leading role in fostering development and modernization, implementing strategic initiatives, and enhancing performance indicators; all of which contributed to improving the standard of police work.

Brigadier General Fares Khalifa Obaid Al Farisi, Director General of Guards and Special Tasks met the three distinguished officers at his office: Colonel Mubarak Abdullah Al Muhairi, Head of F7 Department; Colonel Rashid Suhail Saeed Al Ali, Head of Guards and Special Tasks Department; and Colonel Saleh Bakhit Al Rashidi, Head of Government and Diplomatic Facilities Protection Department.

Addressing the honorees, Brigadier General Al Farisi said that the ADP highly appreciates their distinguished efforts and major achievements during their tenure. He also praised their unwavering dedication to enhance performance and work standards.

“The honorees have been a role model in terms of administrative and technical work. They have shown perseverance and dedication in discharging their supervision and follow-up duties, which led to enhancing their staff members’ performance and skills,” added Brigadier General Al Farisi.

For their part, the honorees expressed their gratitude for this generous gesture, which makes them more aware of the responsibilities entrusted to them to develop police work and their staff members’ performance.  Colonel Saleh Bakhit Al Rashidi explained that based on strategic planning, his department has implemented the open door policy, which brings together staff members and heads of sections in quarterly meetings. The meetings aim to discuss any potential obstacles and receive proposals and suggestions to enhance performance. They are also designed to motivate staff members to submit innovative ideas and other distinguished and creative developmental initiatives.

Colonel Mubarak Abdullah Al Muhairi, Head of F7 Department said that his department succeeded in implementing its tasks based on modern planning and strategies. It has also demonstrated commitment to keep pace with the latest methods and techniques to handle events, in addition to introducing and discussing training plans for the Basics, Advanced and Specialized courses that are designed as per the latest methodologies.

For his part, Colonel Rashid Suhail Saeed Al Ali, Head of Guards and Special Tasks Department, said that the honoring boosts the morale of staff members. It also reflects the police leadership’s commitment to motivate its cadres, to serve the nation and promote security and stability.

Colonel Rashid Suhail Saeed Al Ali added that implementing strategic plans aimed at developing work mechanisms and encouraging staff members to adhere to teamwork spirit were instrumental in the prestigious achievements made by the department. “The department has succeeded in establishing field training programs and curricula, in addition to organizing training courses to hone individual and team skills, with a view to maintain security, safety and public order,” he concluded.
