The 8th Emirates Critical Care Conference is being held from April 5th to 7th, 2012 under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance, President of Dubai Health Authority and the Patron of the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences.
MCI Middle East LLC will be organizing the conference in conjunction with the 4th Asia Africa conference of the World Federation of Societies of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine (WFSICCM) and the 8th International Pan Arab Critical Care Medicine Society (IPACCMS) and is supported by the Dubai Health Authority and Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences.
Emirates Critical Care Conference-Dubai 2012 focuses on leading-evidence base science through informative thematic lectures, Pro-Con debates, workshops and an interactive meeting with the experts, poster presentations, and interactive exhibition. The ECCC-Dubai 2012 is a place where doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other professionals with an interest in critical care collaborate on shared knowledge across disciplines, departments and institutions.
It is one of the most significant teambuilding events in critical care community in the Middle East, with more than 1000 attendees, 60 International faculty, and more than 120 sessions over 3 days. The ECCC Courses will revolve around Emotional Intelligence Training, Presentation Skills Training and Learn Six Sigma Training - Yellow Belt which will take place during the conference period along with the hands on Workshops on Therapeutic Hypothermia, Novel Methods of Ventilation and Nutrition in the critically ill Patient.
The main Satellite Symposiums will be hosted by Merck Sharpe and Dohme, Pfizer and Sanofi Aventis and the objective is to advance the level of health services and expertise of its medical professionals, to brings together international and national experts in the field of critical care and to provide a platform to discuss state-of-the-art information to help improve the standard of critical care provided to patients.
