WIN Consortium Appoints Congress by Design as Congress Management Agency for WIN Symposium 2012

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- WIN Consortium, initiated by Cancer Institute Gustave Roussy (France) and University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (USA), has appointed Congress by design B.V. as its congress management agency for the WIN symposium 2012 in Personalized Cancer Medicine, to be held in Paris, France, June 28-29, 2012. This symposium will provide a forum for discussion of the rapidly advancing field of personalized cancer medicine.

Congress by design is a congress management agency based in Amsterdam and Harmelen (Utrecht), The Netherlands, having ample experience in managing international medical congresses and symposia as well as meetings in other areas. Congress by design will support the WIN symposium 2012 over a wide range of activities in the preparation and execution of the symposium at Palais des Congrès in Paris. Congress by design will also serve as the symposium secretariat for the WIN symposium 2012 and will be the primary point of contact for all matters related to the Symposium.

Congress by design is the continuation of MCCM Meeting Management, established in 2006 by, Marinus Lobbezoo, Ph.D., and Nicolette van Erven, after having collaborated in a range of congresses and other live meetings over a period of 12 years. Among the congresses they have managed are well-known meetings in oncology, including the NCI-EORTC Symposium on New Drugs in Cancer Therapy (continued as the AACR-NCI-EORTC International Conference: Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics as of 1999) and the International Congress on Targeted Anticancer Therapies.
