The Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector has announced working hours at the Residency, Foreigners Affairs and Naturalization Departments across the UAE in two shifts, morning from 9 am to 2 pm and evening, from 2 pm to 6 pm, at all customer service centers. This aims to ensure a fast delivery of customers’ transactions, to avoid work pressures and overcrowding of customers during the holy month of Ramadan.
Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports, indicated that the amended working hours during Ramadan come in response to the higher leadership’s directives to enhance the level of customer service, reinforce comprehensive quality concepts, and alleviate the burden on customers, so as to ensure a smooth workflow. This also embodies the Ministry’s strategy in providing distinguished services with a view to boost public trust and increase customer satisfaction regarding the services provided in accordance with the best international standards.
Concluding, Al Khaili expressed his warm congratulations and blessings to the higher leadership, the UAE people, and both Arab and Islamic Nations on the advent of Ramadan, praying Allah Almighty to bless them with good health and wellness.
