A delegation of students from the Al Ain School for Basic Education visited the Al Ain Police Directorate on Thursday where they were acquainted with the services it provides to gain the confidence and satisfaction of citizens and residents.
During the visit, the delegation reviewed the work mechanism at the directorate and its comprehensive police stations; in addition to its efforts to enhance relations and communication with different entities and institutions within its jurisdiction.
As part of the tour, which falls in line with the "Abu Dhabi Reads" activities, students were briefed on the directorate's efforts to achieve security and safety in society. They also got acquainted with the modern cutting-edge equipment and devices used by the directorate to enhance employees' performance and streamline procedures.
The students, accompanied by a number of officers and constables, toured the various sections and branches of the directorate, where they were introduced to the duties assigned to these sections and branches and their instrumental role. They also visited the Operations Room and took part in a live drill on the way to receive notifications and taking notes, as well as means to handle, classify and respond to these reports.
Students expressed their deep admiration for the Operations Room staff members’ efforts and for the advanced work methods applied, based on the best international standards.
At the end of the tour, the School administration presented a memorial shield to the Al Ain Police Directorate and distributed mementos to the staff members.
