ADP Staff Members Recall the Journey of Prosperity and Development

The Abu Dhabi Police staff members recalled the achievements made by the high leadership and its unwavering efforts in ensuring the prosperity and development across all sectors in the country and maintaining national gains.  They also lauded the security and stability enjoyed by the UAE thanks to the unstinting support of the police leadership, which takes pride in its achievements on the occasion of the UAE 42nd National Day.

In that spirit, celebrations and events organized by the Abu Dhabi Police on this occasion continued.  The Ports and Airports Security Police Department at the Directorate General of Security and Ports Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police hosted a ceremony to mark the UAE 42nd National Day at the Abu Dhabi Aviation Building. A significant number of governmental and private bodies, of officers and constables attended the celebration.

In his speech on the occasion, Colonel Mubarak Saeed Al Mansouri, Deputy Director of the Department, extended his congratulations to the leadership and people of the UAE. He highlighted the countless achievements of the Union over the years, and the efforts of the founding fathers, led by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Colonel Al Mansouri also praised the accomplishments achieved by the Federal march in all aspects of life, which guaranteed prosperity, progress and welfare to the nation’s people, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

For his part, Captain Ibrahim Al Hammadi, General Coordinator of the ceremony indicated that the audience interacted with the various performances.  “The ceremony began with a ceremonial march from the department’s building to the the ceremony’s venue. Participants hoisted the UAE flags. The ceremony featured heritage contests, folk dances, poems recitation, and the “Best traditional national dress” contest,” noted Al Hammadi.

Several entities took part in the celebrations organized by the Ports and Airports Security Department, including the ZHO Abu Dhabi Center for care and Rehabilitation for People with Special Needs; the Abu Dhabi Municipality, the Emirates Heritage Club, among others.

On the same note, Al Muraba’a Comprehensive Police Station, affiliated to Al Ain Police Directorate, also celebrated the UAE 42nd National Day, at the police station new building.

Students of the Smart Step Nursery visited the police station to congratulate its staff members on this auspicious occasion. The station’s officers briefed the children on the instrumental role of the Al Ain traffic patrols. The children also visited the station’s various sections and branches to get acquainted with its role in maintaining security and stability in the city of Al Ain.

On the occasion of the UAE 42nd National Day, customers were briefed on the children's corner, which was inaugurated at the Al Muraba’a police station’s new building.  This is a first-of-its-kind police service across the comprehensive police stations in Al Ain city.

At the end of the ceremony, the station hosted a banquet on the occasion. Attending were Major Mubarak Saif Al Sabousi, Director of the Police station, and a number of department heads, branches managers, employees and customers.

On the other hand, the Al Ain Police Directorate’s pavilion at the Heritage Village in the Hili fun city saw a large turnout of visitors over two days; as part of the UAE 42nd National Day celebrations.

The Directorate availed its participation in the heritage village to acquaint visitors with the role of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, the services it provides to the public, and the achievements accomplished by the Union since its establishment. Staff members of Al Ain Police Directorate distributed gifts and brochures to the village visitors. They also brought joy and happiness to children, by painting UAE flags and patriotic slogans on their faces, within the police’s strategy to interact with the public.

Visitors of the Heritage Village expressed their admiration with the Directorate’s pavilion, lauding the warm welcome of the pavilion’s supervisors. They also commended the efforts exerted by the Directorate to maintain security and stability in the city, and enhance awareness about many topics.

As part of the Family Development Foundation’s activities, the “Hemma” community media team of the Al Ain Police Directorate took part in “Yalssat Al Freej Program” held at Al Nahil Park in Al Ain, to mark the UAE 42nd National Day.

The program included awareness-raising lectures and guidance for children by the “Hemma” community media team, as well as a quiz regarding the UAE and the role of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ in building the Union and serving the community. It is noteworthy that children and their parents interacted intensely with the team.

The “Hemma” community media team is one of the most prominent community-based initiatives launched by Al Ain Police Directorate. The team includes five members: the leader child, the consultant child, the promising lecturer, the media man, and the translator. The role of the team is to acquaint the public with the role of the Police and the efforts exerted by the police officers to serve the community.
