Abu Dhabi Police Airlifts a Citizen from Ibri to Tawam

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Tuesday, June 11th 2013 [ME NewsWire]

The Air Ambulance aircraft of the Abu Dhabi Police’s Air Wing Department airlifted an Emirati woman who had sustained injuries in a traffic accident, from Ibri hospital in the Sultanate of Oman to Tawam hospital in Al Ain to receive necessary medical treatment. 

This comes in line with the humanitarian missions provided by the Department to the public.

The Air Wing Department had received tip off  from the Central Operations, that a female National sustained several bruises and mild fractures in a traffic accident in the region of Ibri in the Sultanate of Oman, and needs to be airlifted back to the country. The air ambulance aircraft immediately took off to Ibri hospital, where the medical crew provided the necessary medical care to the patient to stabilize her condition and transfer her back to Tawam hospital in the city of Al Ain for further treatment.

It is noteworthy that The Air Wing ambulance aircrafts affiliated to the Abu Dhabi Police are stationed in three locations, namely; Al Bateen Airbase at Al Bateen Executive  Airport in Abu Dhabi;  Falaj Hazza base in Al Ain; and Qasr Al Sarab Hotel in the Western Region. This is part of the plan to cover the largest possible area of Abu Dhabi and its peripheral areas, so as to reach accidents’ scene as soon as possible.
