PARIS - Friday, April 26th 2013 [ME NewsWire]

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Under the presidency of Clara Gaymard, GE International and Vice President & CEO, GE France, the 11th edition of the World Investment Conference Europe (WIC Europe) moves to Strasbourg from June 19 to 21, 2013, at Palais de la Musique et des Congrès.

Each year and for three days, the international event brings together select 500 corporate and political leaders, as well as experts from around the world, to discuss the themes of European attractiveness and competitiveness.

How can Europe invent in order to innovate, build and share the models of tomorrow's economy? The question will be asked during the WIC Europe's 11th edition and debated around a selection of 6 major themes: employment, health, industry, innovation, entrepreneurship and the city of tomorrow.

The Alsace Region and the City of Strasbourg are the home of the European Parliament and will be looking to lure and retain foreign investors locally: "The dynamism and optimism we felt in Strasbourg is well illustrated by the brand - the europtimist - the city of Strasbourg is promoting. This relocation will greatly benefit the development of WIC Europe“ says Jean-Bernard Guerrée, President and CEO of the World investment Conferences.
