(BUSINESS WIRE)--  Crowned champions in their last game of the 2021/2022 season of the Djibouti Premier League for the second consecutive year, after winning 14 out of a total of 18 matches (an 80% success rate), the Arta Solar 7 Sports Association maintains the Club’s dominance of Djiboutian football and continues expanding its workforce by recruiting the best players to conquer African regional football.

Winner of the Djibouti Premier League title and in the running to win the Djibouti Cup, Arta Solar 7 continues its steady ascent, to establish itself as one of the most prestigious football franchise clubs on the continent.

After Raising $15 Million in Private Rounds, YGG SEA Announces the $SEA Token IDO Public Sale on Copper

The $SEA Token Launch Auction will commence on the Copper platform on May 9th at 15:00 UTC and it will run through May 14th. A total of 75 million $SEA tokens have been allocated to the IDO public sale, representing 7.5% of the total supply of one billion tokens. The starting price is set at $0.50.

2022 Africa Wealth Report Reveals ‘Big 5’ Hold over 50% of the Continent’s Private Wealth

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- The total private wealth currently held on the African continent is USD 2.1 trillion and is expected to rise by 38% over the next 10 years, according the latest 2022 Africa Wealth Report, published today by Henley & Partners in partnership with New World Wealth.

The report reveals that Africa’s ‘Big 5’ private wealth markets — South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Morocco, and Kenya — together account for over 50% of the continent’s total wealth. There are currently 136,000 high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) with private wealth of USD 1 million or more living in Africa, along with 305 centi-millionaires with USD 100 million or more, and 21 US dollar billionaires. South Africa is home to over twice as many HNWIs as any other African country, while Egypt now has the most billionaires. Mauritius has the highest wealth per capita in Africa, at USD 34,500, followed by South Africa at USD 10,970 and Namibia at USD 9,320.

The Africa Wealth Report is the continent’s annual benchmark for private wealth research and is now in its 7th year, providing a comprehensive review of the wealth sector in Africa, including trends among HNWIs, the luxury market, and wealth management. Andrew Amoils, Head of Research at New World Wealth, says “Africa is home to some of the world’s fastest growing markets, including Rwanda, Uganda, and Mauritius. We forecast private wealth growth of over 60% in all three countries in the next decade, driven by especially strong performance in the technology and professional services sectors.”

Dominic Volek, Head of Private Clients at Henley & Partners, adds that there are already well-established wealth hubs on the continent, including South Africa, Egypt, and Morocco. “Strong growth in private wealth of over 50% is also predicted in Kenya, Morocco, Mozambique, and Zambia over the next 10 years. HNWIs in Africa are extremely mobile and their movements provide valuable insights into future economic trends in each country.”

Mauritius is the fastest growing wealth market in Africa, with projected growth of 80% over the next decade. This will also make it one of the fastest growing high-income markets in the world, together with Australia, Malta, New Zealand, and Switzerland. Africa’s two wealthiest cities are in South Africa — Johannesburg is the wealthiest, with total private wealth of USD 239 billion, while Cape Town in second place has USD 131 billion. Cairo follows closely behind with USD 128 billion, and Lagos is in 4th position with USD 97 billion in privately held wealth.

Commenting in the report, international entrepreneur, author, and CEO of MyGrowthFund Venture Partners Vusi Thembekwayo, says the ascent of new wealth economies, along with megacities and the diversification of wealth-creating sources are just some of the exciting trends driving the creation and flow of capital across the continent. “Africa’s story is one of polar domination, with the largest wealth management centers traditionally situated in the most extreme south — South Africa — and the most extreme north — Egypt and Morocco. The rise of frontier economies that are attracting new wealth by positioning themselves as preferred investment destinations is challenging this narrative. Mauritius and the Seychelles have recently been the most deliberate with this strategy.”

Despite a tough decade, South Africa still ranks 28th in the world when it comes to total private wealth, ahead of major economies such as Argentina, Malaysia, Thailand, and Turkey. It’s also the largest luxury market in Africa by revenue, making USD 2 billion annually.

(بزنيس واير): يبلغ إجمالي الثروة المملوكة حالياً للقطاع الخاص في القارة الأفريقية نحو 2.1 تريليون دولار أمريكي، ومن المتوقع أن يرتفع بنسبة 38 في المائة في السنوات العشر المقبلة، وذلك بحسب تقرير الثروة الإفريقية الأخير لعام 2022 الذي نشرته اليوم شركة "هينلي آند بارتنرز" بالشراكة مع "نيو وورلد هيلث".

هذا ويكشف التقرير أن الأسواق "الخمس الكبرى" للثروة المملوكة للقطاع الخاص في إفريقيا، وهي أسواق جنوب إفريقيا ومصر ونيجيريا والمغرب وكينيا، تمثل معاً أكثر من 50 في المائة من إجمالي الثروة الموجودة في القارة. إذ تضمّ إفريقيا حالياً 136 ألف من الأفراد ذوي الملاءة المالية المرتفعة الذين تُقدّر ثروتهم الخاصة بمليون دولار أمريكي أو أكثر، بالإضافة إلى 305 مليونيراً تزيد ثروتهم عن 100 مليون دولار أمريكي أو تعادلها، و21 مليارديراً. وتحتضن دولة جنوب إفريقيا أكثر من ضعف عدد الأفراد ذوي الملاءة المالية المرتفعة من أي دولةٍ إفريقية أخرى، في حين تضمّ مصر اليوم أكبر عددٍ من المليارديرات. أما موريشيوس، فتمتلك أعلى نسبة من نصيب الفرد من الثروة في إفريقيا بمعدّل 34500 دولار أمريكي للفرد، تليها دولة جنوب إفريقيا عند 10970 دولاراً أمريكياً وناميبيا عند 9320 دولاراً أمريكياً للفرد الواحد.

وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن موريشيوس تُعدّ سوق الثروة الأسرع نمواً في إفريقيا، إذ من المتوقّع أن تشهد نمواً بنسبة 80 في المائة خلال العقد المقبل. وهذا الأمر سيجعلها إحدى أسرع الأسواق ذات الدخل المرتفع نمواً في العالم، إلى جانب كلّ من أستراليا ومالطا ونيوزيلندا وسويسرا. كما تقع أغنى مدينتين إفريقيّتين في دولة جنوب إفريقيا، إذ احتلت مدينة جوهانسبرج المركز الأول بإجمالي ثروةٍ مملوكة للقطاع الخاص تبلغ 239 مليار دولار أمريكي، بينما احتلت كيب تاون المرتبة الثانية مع ثروة قُدّرت بـ 131 مليار دولار أمريكي. تليها القاهرة مباشرة بثروةٍ مُقدّرة عن 128 مليار دولار أمريكي، ولاغوس في المركز الرابع بثروة مملوكة للقطاع الخاص تبلغ 97 مليار دولار أمريكي.

ويُفيد فوسي ثيمبيكوايو، رائد الأعمال الدولي والمؤلف والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة "ماي جروث فاند فنتشر بارتنرز"، في معرض تعليقه في هذا التقرير، أنّ ازدياد الاقتصادات القائمة على الثروة الجديدة، إلى جانب المدن الكبرى، وتنويع مصادر تكوين الثروة، ما هي إلا بعض الاتجاهات المثيرة التي تُعزّز تكوين رأس المال وتدفقه في القارة. كما أشار إلى أنّ "قصة إفريقيا هي قصة هيمنةٍ قطبية، إذ تقع أكبر المراكز المُديرة للثروات كما هو مُعتاد في أقصى الجنوب، أي جنوب إفريقيا، وأقصى الشمال، أي مصر والمغرب. وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن بروز الاقتصادات الناشئة التي تقوم باجتذاب ثروات جديدةٍ عبر تجهيز نفسها كوجهات استثمارية مُفضّلة يتحدى هذا الوضع. وكانت كلّ من موريشيوس وسيشيل أكثر من اتبع هذه الاستراتيجية مؤخراً".

وعلى الرغم من مرورها بفترةٍ عصيبة استمرت عشرة سنوات، لا تزال دولة جنوب إفريقيا تحتل المرتبة الـ 28 عالمياً من حيث إجمالي الثروة المملوكة للقطاع الخاص، متقدمةً بذلك على اقتصادات كبرى من قبيل الأرجنتين وماليزيا وتايلاند وتركيا. وهي تُعدّ أكبر سوق للمنتجات الفاخرة في إفريقيا من حيث الإيرادات، مع إيرادات تبلغ 2 مليار دولار أمريكي سنوياً.
