Toshiba to Showcase Leading-Edge Semiconductor and Storage Technologies at ELEXCON 2015

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Toshiba Corporation’s (TOKYO: 6502) Semiconductor & Storage Products Company today announced that it will exhibit its latest semiconductor and storage products and technologies at ELEXCON 2015. The Hi-Tech fair for electronic components, systems and applications will be held at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center from November 16 to 21. Toshiba will highlight automotive solutions in three areas; “Safety Driving”, “Environment” and “Infotainment” under the unifying concept of “Automotive in Smart Community”.

Main Exhibitions: (1) Safety Driving: Exhibits will spotlight Toshiba’s broad automotive semiconductor line-up designed for “Safety Driving”, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) functions. Image recognition processors for automotive applications that can concurrently excute multiple recognition applications will be introduced to the Chinese market for the first time. Automotive display controller “Capricorn™” and other leading-edge solutions will also be showcased.

(2) Environment: Toshiba will display its extensive line-up of analog ICs and power devices contributing to the environment. Motor control solutions including analog ICs that achieve the industry’s top-class [1] low ON resistance and highly efficient discrete devices supporting the AEC-Q100/101 standards[2] will be showcased.

(3) Infotainment: Toshiba will introduce its latest wireless and memory/storage technologies for use in infotainment systems that aim to realize a comfortable and fun driving experience. Bluetooth® car audio solutions, Bluetooth® SMART wearable solutions integrating NFC Tag/Wireless LAN/Biosensor functions, storage solutions using NAND flash memory, shock-resistant HDDs, products using the “TransferJetTM“ close proximity high-speed wireless transfer technology and the “FlashAirTM“ wireless LAN SD memory card will be featured.
