Vietnamese Official praises the High-end Development of ADP Forensic Evidence Department

General Dang Van Hieu, Deputy Minister of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam praised the advanced technical development achieved by the Forensic Evidence Department at Abu Dhabi Police as well as its regional and global excellence. He also stressed the importance of the department’s role in police and security work and commended its unique scientific and practical potential.

Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Head of the Forensic Evidence Department at the Directorate General of Security and Ports Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police, had recently met the Vietnamese official and the accompanying delegation at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters. He briefed them on the department’s plans, its present and future objectives, its achievements and its role in achieving criminal justice.  He also highlighted the positive effect of the considerable support provided to the department by the police leadership for developing its technical and human potential, which earned the department several recognitions and international accreditations for quality

The Deputy Minister of Public Security of Vietnam toured some of the forensic laboratories, where he reviewed the technical work mechanisms, forensic laboratory testing methods and other work procedures and mechanisms adopted at the labs.

At the end of the visit, Colonel Abdul Rahman offered the Forensic Evidence Department Shield to his Vietnamese guest, in the presence of Colonel Hassan Al Hosani, Deputy Director of the Forensic Evidence Department.
