Saif bin Zayed Views a Doctoral Thesis in International Technology Transfer

Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior met at his office on Wednesday H.E Major General Staff Dr. Obeid Al Ketbi who recently obtained a Ph.D. degree from the University of London in the United Kingdom.
H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed was briefed on the objectives of the doctoral thesis obtained by H.E Major General Al Ketbi, entitled “International Technology Transfer”. He noted that directing researches towards this discipline enhances the UAE efforts to achieve sustainable development. “It also provides practical solutions for technology transfer to other countries and expands knowledge in this field,” H.H Sheikh Saif said.
H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed congratulated H.E Major General Staff Dr. Al Ketbi for this achievement and reiterated the higher leadership’s commitment to providing the necessary resources to promote the efforts of national cadres. H.H Sheikh Saif also wished H.E Major General Staff Dr. Al Ketbi further academic and scientific success and excellence. Additionally, H.H Sheikh Saif praised the scientific achievements made by the sons and daughters of the UAE, which is regarded as a leading role model in supporting development and progress.
For his part, H.E Major General Staff Dr. Al Ketbi expressed his pride for the increasing attention dedicated by the higher leadership to encourage Emiratis to seek modern sciences, provide innovations and achieve excellence in work. “The higher leadership is also keen to providing its people with the opportunity to make additional academic attainment within the country and abroad and to obtain the highest degrees. It is also endeavoring to provide new disciplines in applied sciences, engineering, and technology.” He added that the country’s leadership spared no effort in this respect and is forging ahead to the forefront of world countries, relying mainly on sciences and the efforts of its people,” added H.E Major General Staff Dr. Al Ketbi.
