Appreciation Medals for “Finance and Services” Officers and Distinguished Staff Members

Major General Mohammed Khalfan Matar Al Rumaithi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police granted the Employment Excellence Medals and First Class Appreciation Medals to a group of officers from the Directorate General of Finance and Services. It is noteworthy that these officers were awarded the medals by virtue of the Ministerial Resolution No. (305) of 2014 issued by Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. The honoring ceremony was held yesterday, Sunday, at the Police General Headquarters in the presence of Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services.
His Excellency praised the efforts of the honorees in the promotion and support of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s participation in running for the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance. Al Rumaithi indicated that “These prestigious medals stress the attention the higher leadership extends to its staff. They reflect the appreciation for their dedicated efforts and endeavors in accomplishing their duties in addition to supporting the progress and developmental process that the police and security system are witnessing in all areas.”
Moreover, Al Rumaithi urged the honorees to continue achieving excellence and success in the creative work process and to not only maintain, but continue to push these advanced levels forward. He also commended their developmental pursuits and commitment to excellence, which became not only a feature of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, but also an incentive for their colleagues to compete towards being the best.
Similarly, Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services granted the First Class Appreciation Medals to officers classified as Captains under the ministerial resolution, and the Second Class Appreciation Medals to non-commissioned, constables and civilians.
Badran pointed out that “This accolade is in pursuance of the directives from His Highness, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. It embodies His Highness’ keenness to encourage distinguished staff and urge them to assume more responsibilities to serve this country and to provide better service levels to the public.”
Moreover, he congratulated the honorees on this accomplishment of achieving leadership in police work. In order to promote their efforts of further developing themselves, Badran urged them to exert further efforts and care, to continuously strive to develop their capabilities, to hone their skills through training, and to keep abreast of the developments in their field of work.
The honored officers, non-commissioned officers and constables recognized the care of the higher leadership that was given to each staff member, officer and individual alike. They also lauded the support given to them aimed at enabling them to continue the process of development and excellence in order to achieve the coveted goals. This care and support embodies the strategy of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ and its insightful vision which stimulates creativity and excellence.
The Employment Excellence Medals were granted to the following officers from the Directorate General of Finance and Services: Major Dr. Tariq Abdullah Al Junaibi; Major Yusuf Yasser Al Yarubi; and Captain Faten Mohammed Manahi.
