the need for hard and distinguished work, to offer the best and finest
services to the public, at all times and in an innovative manner, as per
its leading smart government initiative,” he said.
“Attaining
this prominent position is a direct result of the vision of Lt. General
H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister
of Interior, who instructed the ministry’s staff members to implement
and activate innovative ideas that enhance strategic developmental
efforts to upgrade the standard of police and security work. It also
highlights His Highness’s directives for police leaders in the country,
to pursue achievements as per the international-best excellence
standards,” he added.
Major General Al Raisi dedicated this Award
to the Ministry of Interior’s staff members, valuing the efforts
exerted by the Directorate General of Electronics and Telecommunications
Services’ team, which contributed to this significant accomplishment.
“This Award is a motivation for us to show more dedication and giving,
through several initiatives and projects planned for the near future,”
he revealed.
Al Raisi indicated: “The achievement adds to the
responsibilities we need to shoulder for the coming period. We are
required to stand up to two huge challenges; notably maintaining the
achievements already made, and seeking further accomplishments.” Adding
further he said: “We will move forward at a faster pace, armed with
quality and excellence, to accomplish our plans and programs and
implement our projects.”
Major General Al Raisi assured that
obtaining this Award on the GCC level is an advanced mechanism to
enhance work and performance of all institutions and ministries across
the Gulf, and a practical tool to spread the culture of excellence.
“The
numerous local and international awards obtained by the Ministry of
Interior is an incentive for its staff members to develop work and
upgrade the standards of performance. The Ministry’s hallmarks and its
keenness to boost its human cadres’ performance throughout its long
history, have earned the ministry a prominent position,” he mentioned;
