Federal Circuit Affirms Ruling That Knowles Patents Are Valid and Infringed

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Knowles Electronics, LLC announced today that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has affirmed the U.S. International Trade Commission’s (ITC) final determination that MEMS Technology Berhad’s (MemsTech) importation and sale of certain MEMS microphone packages infringes Knowles’s U.S. Patents 7,242,089 and 6,781,231. The Court of Appeals held that Knowles’s patents are valid and enforceable, and affirmed the ITC’s exclusion order barring MemsTech from importing its infringing products into the U.S.
