Mavenir Systems Launches Mobile Voice and Messaging Client Solution

Mavenir Systems® (NYSE:MVNR), a leading provider of software-based mobile communications solutions, today announced the general availability of its mobile voice and messaging client software for handsets and tablets. Mavenir’s client solution is designed to allow mobile operators to differentiate their Voice over LTE (VoLTE), Voice over WiFi (VoWiFi) and Rich Communication Services (RCS).

Mavenir’s client software enables mobile operators to rapidly bring new services to market without any dependency on embedded clients provided by device manufacturers. The client is easily customized to allow mobile operators to innovate and optimize the user experience with control over the end-to-end solution. Mavenir already has 2 tier one customers for its client.

This client implements an intuitive graphical user interface blending RCS, CPM, legacy messaging and voice or video telephony services into a coherent communication user experience. The client also seamlessly integrates with Mavenir’s Converged Video and Voicemail solution using Open Mobile Terminal Platform (OMTP) based Visual Voicemail (VVM) functionality.

Mavenir’s client solution includes a Client Configuration and Provisioning Server (CCPS) that simplifies the deployment and enables customization of the client software. Mavenir’s comprehensive mobile client solution enables operators to enrich mobile applications with a robust suite of next generation mobile voice, video and messaging functionality.

Mavenir’s client software is available today on both Android™ and iOS platforms, with availability later in 2014 for Windows® phone platforms.
