The
Abu Dhabi Police, represented by the General Directorate of Finance and
Services, honored 19 distinguished staff members from the General
Directorate of Finance and Services for submitting distinguished
proposals that were implemented at the directorate. The ceremony was
held recently at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, and aims to recognize the staff
members’ outstanding efforts as part of their participation in the
Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award for 2014, the “Director General”
category.
Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services, reiterated the keenness of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to honor distinguished and creative staff members. He also underscored His Highness’s keenness to double the efforts in order to improve the quality of services provided to the public and to enhance the skills and competencies of the police staff members. This falls in line with the priorities that the leadership continuously seeks to achieve, so as to upgrade the police and security work to the best international standards.
Moreover, the Director General of Finance and Services urged the distinguished honorees to keep abreast of the latest developments in police and security work, and to pursue their efforts in submitting proposals that contribute to upgrading the level of services provided to customers; in pursuance of the instructions set by the higher leadership, which has provided the appropriate environment to encourage creativity and innovation among its personnel for the service of the nation.
He also praised the staff members’ efforts in providing creative and innovative ideas to boost customer service and strengthen partnership and interaction with community sectors, in line with the police force’s civilized message. While distributing appreciation certificates, he urged the honorees to pursue further innovative ideas and projects, with a view to achieve efficiency in police work and improve the level of services. He also lauded the participation of female staff members along with their colleagues in providing valuable proposals and purposeful ideas for developmental projects.
It is worth mentioning that the distinguished employees’ creative proposals aim to develop and streamline work mechanisms at the General Directorate of Finance and Services in an innovative manner that contributes to enhancing and facilitating work procedures according to advanced standards in this area.
