The
Directorate General of Resources and Support Services at the
Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector, honored a number of
officers, non-commissioned officers, constables, civilians, female staff
members, and workers, in recognition of their efforts and dedication at
work. The honoring ceremony was recently held at the Naturalization,
Residency and Ports Affairs’ Officers Club.
Lieutenant Colonel
Mohammed Ali bin Wadeema Al Ameri, Acting Director General of Resources
and Support Services, indicated that the honoring complements the
Ministry of Interior’s approach and commitment to promote the quality
and excellence culture according to the police leadership’s vision. “It
also embodies the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector’s strategy
and reflects the importance of supporting employees and providing them
with incentives, which is a key strategic goal, towards upgrading the
administrative system and placing it at the top of the department’s
priorities,” he said.
Lieutenant Colonel Al Ameri added that
the honoring encourages the sector’s employees to keep up with the
process of development and modernization that is taking place at the
ministry, by making use of advanced technologies in the areas of
security and administrative work. He also explained that development and
modernization can only be attained through qualified and highly trained
human resources that can make optimal use of these technologies to
improve the quality of police work.
At the end of the ceremony,
Colonel Al Ameri presented certificates of appreciation and gifts to the
honorees; in the presence of heads of departments, chiefs of sections,
and a number of officers from all levels of the Directorate General of
Resources and Support Services.
