Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - Friday, April 11th 2014 [ME NewsWire]The Abu Dhabi Police College celebrated the graduation of 31 officers from different sectors of the Ministry of Interior after completing three specialized courses. The courses, organized by the Officers’ Training Institute at the Police College, include the “Employee Motivation Methods” course; the “Institutional Performance Measurement” course; and the “Identifying Training Requirements and Preparing Training Plans” course.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Saif Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Acting Director General of the Police College; Colonel Dr. Ahmad Ali Al Khuzaimi, Acting Director of the Officers’ Training Institute; as well as the heads of departments, chiefs of sections and a number of officers from the college.
Colonel Saif Al Nuaimi stressed the Ministry of Interior's keenness to improve the skills of its human cadre as per the training plan, which keeps pace with existing developments. “This approach embodies police leadership’s instructions to constantly advance the training system, by honing officers’ skills and raising their scientific and practical efficiency to enable them to perform their duties to the best of their abilities,” he said.
He also added that such courses aim at improving the knowledge and skills of participants about ways, methods and tools to motivate employees and encourage them to show innovation and creativity to solve problems and overcome obstacles at the workplace. They are also designed to develop methods and tools to measure institutional performance and its applications at the Ministry of Interior, and to enhance staff employees' skills and competencies with respect to identifying training requirements and the scientific methods necessary to prepare training plans.
At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Saif Al Nuaimi, accompanied by Colonel Dr. Al Khuzaimi, honored the lecturers and distributed certificates to the graduates. Ceremonial photographs were also taken.
