Delta Partners has appointed Javier Garabal to its Barcelona office as Partner and Head of the Technology Practice

Delta Partners’ Technology Practice is focused on helping clients in IT strategy, optimization of IT and network departments, outsourcing & offshoring of operations and assessment of technology investments. It supports clients to optimize and balance both CAPEX and OPEX in increasingly competitive environments with ever larger constraints on capital to be deployed and increasing pressure on margins to be achieved.

Prior to joining Delta Partners, Javier was Partner at McKinsey’s Telecom and BTO Practice where his expertise and client work focused on IT and network strategy and operational support for Telcos and media companies around the world.

Javier is a Spanish national and holds a Masters in Telecommunication Devices and Techniques from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications in Paris, and a double specialization in his Undergraduate degree in Transmission and Networks from University Politecnica de Madrid.

Javier also worked at Marconi France Telecommunications as Chief Technology Officer prior to McKinsey.
